Humboldt County 911
As mandated by Iowa Code Chapter 34A , the Humboldt County E-911 Service Board, is comprised of a designated roster of officials from Humboldt County . There are 20 members of the Humboldt County E-911 Service Board.
The 911 Communications Center is comprised of two dispatch workstations. One station is considered the primary workstation, and the second station is considered the back-up workstation. Humboldt County 9-1-1 coordinates the emergency services (Police, Fire, & Ambulance) of Humboldt County as well as parts of the surrounding communities in bordering counties.
The Law Enforcement Center is staffed 24- hours a day, seven days a week, with one dispatcher on-duty during each shift. Equipment in the 9-1-1 Center is provided by the Humboldt County 9-1-1, and the Humboldt County Law Enforcement Center Board. Some equipment has been acquired through grants received from the Public Safety Foundation of America (PSFA) and the Office of Domestic Preparedness (Homeland Security).
