The Board of Supervisors of Humboldt County, Iowa met at 8:30 a.m. on the 18th day of January, 2010 with the following members present: Hett, Haverly, Christianson, Hansen and Mattes. Absent: None.

Moved by Christianson and seconded by Hett to approve the amended agenda for the January 18, 2010 Board meeting. All voting aye.

Moved by Haverly and seconded by Hansen to approve the minutes for the January 11, 2010 Board meeting. All voting aye.

Chairman Mattes opened the meeting up for public concerns. No one was present to speak so the Board continued on with their regular meeting.

Moved by Haverly and seconded by Christianson to accept and place on file the FY2010-2011 Compensation Board Recommendations. All voting aye.

Moved by Hansen and seconded by Hett to recess as the Board of Supervisors and convene as the Board of Trustees for DD#9. All voting aye.

Moved by Haverly and seconded by Hett to adjourn as the Board of Trustees for Drainage and reconvene as the Board of Supervisors. All voting aye.

Moved by Haverly and seconded by Hett to approve the specifications for the purchase of an end loader for Secondary Road. All voting aye.

Moved by Hansen and seconded by Hett to approve a proposal for an engineering study of Secondary Road Department facility needs. All voting aye.

Moved by Hett and seconded by Hansen to certify the expenses for the September 8, 2009 School Election in the amount of $3,356.78, which will be billed to the various school districts. All voting aye.
